Emma came to us with a dog bite from another dog that required surgery. She has recovered, is healthy, and heartworm free! Emma is not a purebred doberman, and is a pint sized 35#. She will never get near the size of a typical doberman. Proving great things come in small packages, she is the perfect puppy without the puppy behavior. She does not chew, is house trained, and gets along great with people and dogs! She is excellent with older children.
Velvet is a sweet girl! She is house & crate trained and knows how to use doggy door. Velvet is good with older children - her favorite person in the house is one of the kids! She is good with dogs. Her current foster is working with her, but she would greatly benefit from an experienced owner or someone willing to send her to a trainer.
This cute boy and 55lbs. Marcus is good with other dogs but can be shy when first meeting them. He takes a little while to warm up, but once he does he loves them! He would like a home with older children only (10+). He has not been tested with cats yet.
Marcus is super sweet and playful with the cutest ballerina peets and a very short tail. Our best guess is he is a Doberman/Rottweiler mix, but he would be a great candidate for a DNA test! Marcus loves a good cuddle session on the couch but also has quite a bit of energy as well. He is house & crated trained, and knows how to sit & shake. Marcus barks and alerts his foster of any “intruders” that come near his house.
Marcus came to us heartworm positive, and is currently undergoing treatment before he is ready to be adopted. We are taking applications on him now!
Hudson was neglected by his owners who no longer wanted him. They allowed him to roam free until a kind person took him in. Hudson’s dad was a purebred doberman and his mom was a hound mix. He is already 54#, so he will be a big boy. He’s pretty timid right now due to lack of socialization. Despite his rough start in life, Hudson is very sweet and wouldn’t harm a fly. He needs to learn “how to dog” but once he does, he’s going to be a great boy. We know he is good with other dogs of all sizes, and we think he will also be good with cats and kids. He is heart worm free and will be neutered soon.
Darbi is a petite girl at 50 pounds. Darbi had puppies recently, but we are unsure what happened to them. She has been spayed and is currently going through heartworm treatment. Darbi was timid in the beginning, but is adjusting to being part of her foster family. She is playful, loves her toys, is quiet indoors and loves to run around outdoors. She has become quite proficient in opening doors, pocket doors, and lever handle doors-a smart gal! Darbi is house & crate trained and doing well with leash training. She is cat friendly, bossy little dog friendly, and toddler friendly. Darbi is very gentle with elderly folks as well. She is sweet to everyone and every creature, and loves to be with her people and other dogs.
