I'm Dante
Dante has had a rough start to life. He spent the first 6 months of life on a chain, suffering a broken leg that was not treated until being dumped at an animal shelter. The shelter workers saw a great dog and get him to a vet. Dante's delays in treatment meant a longer road to recovery with complications. Luckily, he is coming along great, learning how to be a regular dog in his foster home, and soaking up all the attention and love he can get. Curious about all things, he knows how lucky he is. This beautiful affectionate boy is going to get the life he deserves. He will be available after his leg heals. He is learning house manners after life on a chain and significant time kenneled as he healed. He loves people and other dogs. A house without very small children would be best due to his excitement as he learns how to be a regular dog. Get your apps in now for when he is ready to go to his forever home!

I'm Marcel
Marcel is an approximately two-year old male Doberman. Marcel is a playful boy, and very affectionate with people.
He is heartworm free, up-to-date on shots, housebroken, crate trained and working on basic obedience and manners. As a teenager, he needs additional guidance and training, but he catches on very quickly. He also does well on a leash, and loves going for walks. His all-time favorite is playing ball, either by himself or in a game of fetch. Although he is not currently living with other dogs, his foster parents think he would enjoy having a sibling to play with as he's done well at the dog park. Unlike typical dobermans, he does not mind going out to pee in the rain and enjoys his bath. He has not been tested with cats and has had limited exposure with children, but has not had any issues with kids.
Fun loving and energetic by day and ready for cuddles by night. Does this sound like the boy for you?

I'm Fred
Fred is a 1 - to 2 year old neutered male Doberman. He is currently heartworm negative, but will require retesting in 6 months. Fred had a rough start in life, and came into the rescue emaciated with a badly botched home ear crop that required surgery. Thanks to the great folks at VCA All Pets and his foster home, he is now a lean and muscular 60-pound hunk of love in good health! Despite his rough beginning, Fred is one of the sweetest dogs ever. He is housebroken and kennel trained, but he does have some separation anxiety that requires a special kennel called a Ruffland. He gets along with male and female dogs, both big and small. He would be great with a similar size or smaller friend. He is also great with kids!

I'm Toby
Meet two-year-old Toby. He is heartworm free, neutered and up-to-date on shots. He just moved into a new foster home, where he will be learning manners 101. He's an excellent car rider and loves people. Due to his age and excitement level, he would not be good for a children under teenage years. When he gets a chance to play, he gives it his all! He would do best in a home where he can continue training, and enjoying an active lifestyle. Looking for a jogging partner? Toby could definitely be your boy!!!
