Asha is a 2-year-old Doberman who has already been through more than any young girl should have to endure. She lost her home, found herself in a shelter pregnant, and was incredibly lucky to make her way into rescue. She became the best mama to her puppies, and one by one, they’ve all found their forever homes.

Now it’s Asha’s turn. And if you know Dobermans, you know these dogs are basically professional Velcro! Asha is no exception. Once she loves you, she wants to be right there with you—preferably touching you at all times. She is incredibly affectionate with her people and absolutely adores the 8-year-old in her foster home. Asha can be a little hesitant with men when she first meets them, but give her some time and patience, and she warms up. She would do best with a young male or calm male dog to keep her company. She’s still very playful, goofy, and full of that adorable Doberman goober energy. She is crate trained, although she’ll be the first to tell you that the crate is NOT her favorite place. She is also mostly housebroken and continuing to do great in her foster home.

After giving everything she had to her puppies, Asha is ready for someone to finally make her the priority. She’s looking for a family who will give her the love, patience, and forever home she deserves. Asha has been a mama, a shelter dog, a rescue dog—and now she’s ready to simply be someone’s spoiled, goofy, Velcro girl.

Tre' is an 11 month-old, very large Doberman puppy. He is what we call over-sized, meaning he will likely be larger than the breed standard. His ears were cropped, but his previous owner didn't follow through with the after-care. As a result, he is what we call cropped and flopped. It doesn't take away an ounce of his adorable good looks! Tre' is negative for heart-worms, neutered, and is up-to-date on all shots. He is crate-trained and working on house training. Tre' is a super sweet boy, but because of his large size and his youth, he would not be suitable for a home with small children. We are seeking an active home for him with a human who will be devoted to molding him into best we know he can be. We're talking training here. Tre' will be in obedience training with one of our volunteers while he waits for his forever home. However, this boy is ready to walk out the door as soon as his perfect home comes along!!

Harper came from a backyard breeder situation. Law enforcement freed her from a life of cranking out puppies to be sold.  While being starved and severely mistreated, she had puppies, and developed heartworms. Sometime during this reign of terror, her leg was broken. She did not go to the Vet for treatment - it healed on its own, and she adapted to the break.  All of this happened, and she is only two years old!

Harper is thriving in her foster home. She is house and kennel trained. She knows basic obedience. She is OK with cats, children and dogs. Harper is affectionate, smart, alert and cautious. She is a natural watchdog. She has bonded with her foster Mom, and will be looking for that same type of bond in her forever home.

Bottom line, Harper is a wonderful girl that had a terrible start in life. Her abuser was male, and she is extremely afraid of men. If Harper could talk, she would say that she would do best in a home with no adult males.  A woman with patience and love to give would be perfect. Harper is more than just a pretty dog with cropped ears, she is a gentle soul that experienced the worst of humans. It impacted her confidence and trust. We are looking for a woman that would like 

to help Harper continue to find her inner Doberman. Harper is a diamond in the rough. She will be a perfect dog for the right person. She is up to date on everything, and heartworm free.
